I have loved to bake ever since I was little, learning to make cookies and pies from my mother and grandmother and practicing on my own after school. In college I got a job in a bakery, and continued in bakeries learning how to make wedding cakes and making them for clients throughout Boulder Colorado and Washington State. I also apprenticed under a French pastry chef in Seattle Washington, and taking over the pastry division of the patisserie for two years, learning many fun and interesting skills.
At this time my life had the greatest of fortune to be invited to be the chef for His Divine Presence Adi Da Samraj, The Spriritual Teacher and World Friend. As He ate all raw, I learned how to create and make many raw meals as well as raw treats and delights for special occasions for Him and His family. At one point He gave one of the raw treats I made for Him the name "Nessie Bars" and so the name Nessie!
I would love to share with you my great passion for making delight in food, which can be healthy and can work with any diet.
